Artist Statement
I feel very fortunate to have fallen in love with dance from a young age. It has given me the opportunity to connect with so many incredible individuals, and learn from them no matter their age or background. Through dance I have also learned a great deal about myself and how I wish to approach the world. I am dedicated to using this incredible language to connect with others and bring light and joy into the world.
Biography
Kyla Joyce is a dancer and choreographer from Waterloo, Ontario. She grew up dancing locally before continuing her training at the Alonzo King Lines Ballet Training Program. She has performed works choreographed by artists such as Meredith Webster, Mateo Galindo Torres, Mike Tyus, Luca Renzi, and more. Kyla's own choreography has been recognized with awards at the Junior Choreographers Gala.
